‘Meals And Nation’ Ruth Reichl Documentary Acquired By Greenwich Ent.


EXCLUSIVE: Greenwich Leisure has acquired North American rights to the documentary Meals and Nation, a collaboration between acclaimed best-selling creator Ruth Reichl and award-winning director Laura Gabbert. See the unique trailer under.

The movie, which premiered on the 2023 Sundance Movie Pageant, will start its theatrical run on October 2 at IFC Heart in New York. Reichl, a chef and restaurant critic whose books embody Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Lifetime of a Critic in Disguise and Consolation Me with Apples: Extra Adventures on the Desk, produced the documentary together with Gabbert, Caroline Libresco, Paula Perez Manzanedo, and Lisa Remington. Gabbert’s directing credit embody Metropolis of Gold, concerning the late meals author Jonathan Gold, and Ottolenghi and the Truffles of Versailles about chef-restaurateur Yotam Ottolenghi.
